area, and we welcome our guests to add their sightings.

with natural paints. The cottages are either 3 star or 4
star and sleep between 2 and 6. All are well insulated and cosy year

the bunkrooms are well looked after - the Hall Keeper lives in the village
and is often around. Dervaig Hall is a community run amenity in the
village of Dervaig, which is 7 miles from Tobermory in the north west corner
of the island. Dervaig is an attractive conservation village
on the edge of a sheltered sea loch. Pretty whitewashed houses border
a quiet main street. There are lovely walks along Loch Cuin, into
the forest and to nearby standing stones. A traditional village
pub serves good food and has a wide range of whiskies. Calgary
Bay, with its sparkling sands and turquoise waters is 5 miles away, and
is rated one of the worlds top beaches! |

10 guests. 'Quinish' is a bunkroom for up to 6 people and 'Cuin'
sleeps 4. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with WC, shower and
wash hand basin. There is a communal kitchen and a separate sitting
and dining area. The main Hall can be hired if required by guests.
These 2 bunkrooms can be booked by bed or by room. If you prefer
not to share with strangers it is possible to book either room as a whole.
There is a travel cot available for use, but we ask you to bring your own
bedding for it. (Please check with the Hall Keeper before arrival that
it is not already in use by another family). |
