Great Northern Diver
A common winter visitor to our
shores, it is often seen both in summer plumage and winter plumage. Birds
arrive in late autumn and it usually stays until late spring. Loch na Keal
and most of the other sea lochs are home throughout the winter for this
beautiful bird.
